C1XS began as shorthand for Chima.1x Services. The original identity represented an expanding collection of gaming services and digital products. As that work moved into larger software development, website design, community infrastructure, and original interactive development, the name needed to represent more than a single category of service.

C1XS Studios keeps the history and recognition of the original name while creating room for the company to operate as a broader digital studio.
